Xara Photo & Graphic Designer is complex graphics software that allows you to draw interesting images and to edit photos. It offers you a wide array of tools that can help you express your graphic creativity.

Xara Photo & Graphic Designer is an efficient application that comes with an intuitive user interface. It provides some interesting drawing tools, such as bevel, blend, contour, extrude 3D, perspective correction and others. A page you have drawn on can be duplicated and further edited. The utility also allows you to work on multiple layers. If you want to share your work, the "Publish Online" option is available. Shapes can be combined in different ways as well as add, subtract, intersect and slice them. Red eye effect removal tool and clone tool, used for replacing one area of an image with information from another area, are also included.

Compared with similar tools provided by other programs, the clone tool has a different way of working. You will not use a clone stamp or a brush, but what you will actually do is select the area to be modified and a copy of the image will be dragged around in that space until the section you want to clone fits the selected area. Saturation, contrast and brightness can be modified for a picture and also the photo temperature can be set, with the possibility to compare the final result with the original photo.

The utility also allows you to work on different projects in parallel, each in a different tab.

This piece of software is the kind that requires you to invest time into discovering all the possibilities it offers but it is definitely worth doing that.
